Maintenance Technician I

Your Role on Our Team :
The Maintenance Technician 1 is responsible for performing maintenance services and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, plastering, machine servicing, and electrical.
You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities : ?
Operate the Hylift (40%)
Perform repairs and adaptions of equipment, such as , changing air, grease and coolant lines, switches, belts, guards (40%)
Fabricate miscellaneous items out of wood, metal, and Plexiglas (40%)
Build or fabricate workstations, devices, etc. to support continuous improvement (30%)
Use hand, power tools and shop equipment for fabrication and repairs (30%)
Rigging, leading an equipment move team (30%)
Perform electrical work (30%)
Operate hydraulic equipment (30%)
Welding (30%)
Stock maintenance supplies and maintain supply inventory (20%)
Rebuild and repair machines as required (20%)
All non-routine machine maintenance and upkeep machines as required (10%)
Preventative maintenance ( 1 0%)
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area and drive safety improvements (5%)
Practice 5S (5%)
The TOOLS you'll bring with you :
Proficient understanding and ability to follow verbal and written instructions (drawings and OMS)
Proficient b asic math skills
Must have forklift operator certification
Proficient w elding experience
Proficient knowledge in industrial electricity / wiring
High school diploma or equivalent
40 semester hours of industrial trade training or 5 years general maintenance experience
Qualified electrician
Basic electronics
