Purpose of the Position
The Quality Tech I performs in process inspections. They ensure compliance with required engineering specifications and/or applicable standards. The Quality Inspector I is responsible for reporting and assisting with disposition of non-conforming product.

Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring packaging requirements are met by completing end of line inspection
- Escalate quality issues so they can be fixed in a timely manner
- Ability to read and understand provided work instructions
- Effectively communicate across shifts and work within team
- Perform basic shop math, such as fraction to decimal conversion, arithmetic and units of measure conversion, basic statistics,
- Problem solving abilities, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage interruptions is required
- Consciously abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment
- May be assigned special projects and other duties
Education and Experience
- High School or GED diploma required
- One (1) year of previous Quality Technician experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- The employee may be required to frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Prolonged standing of eight or more hours a day
- Occasional bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching
- Employees will be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain work cells
