JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Team Lead with five years' experience in the electronics manufacturing industry to join our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) team. This role involves coordinating efficient production workflows, ensuring top-quality standards, and providing hands-on support in assembling electronic PCB and box-build components. As a leader, you will guide team activities and drive production excellence on the shop floor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate and prioritize production activity/workflow.
- Acting supervisor when required. Supervision experience preferred.
- Actively leads and works/directs group/team activities.
- Experience with SMT, Slide line, Prep, Wave & AOI.
- Participate in daily team lead meetings.
- Able to train and follow up on adherence to process.
- Ability to work independently on an off shift with limited management oversight.
- Follows appropriate quality policies and procedures.
- Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities.
- Performs work to appropriate efficiency and utilization standards.
- Able to communicate effectively with customers by email and phone.
- Provide first level technical support to team and escalate per escalation policy.
- Capable of producing and inspecting quality product.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment.
- Enthusiastic, positive and dependable member of the manufacturing group.
- Actively supports change and identifies ways to improve processes and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- A minimum of five years' experience in the electronics industry required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The ability to read, speak, and understand English to enable clear communication and comprehension of documentation.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic math skills will be required to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Basic understanding of & ability to read performance graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Able to understand and determine product quality to written documentation.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Able to perform data entry transactions.
- Must achieve a passing score on the Milwaukee Electronics Component identification course.
- Must achieve a passing score on the IPC Workmanship standard exam.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this position, employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Vision requirements include close & distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
