ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Interpret documentation to determine quality standards. Follow appropriate quality policies & procedures.
- Follow detailed instructions and test procedures for PCBAs and subassemblies.
- Set up and use of commercial test equipment. Low-level troubleshooting and maintenance of test heads.
- Assist with maintaining test equipment (e.g., cleaning probes, verifying calibrations).
- Perform basic functional tests using pre-written test scripts, automated test equipment (ATE), or manual methods.
- Log test results and report failures to senior technicians or engineers.
- Handle basic troubleshooting under supervision (e.g., identifying solder bridges, damaged components).
- Must be a positive and dependable member of the manufacturing group. Participate in work group/team activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and environment.
- Practice and participate in Continuous Improvement and Lean activities and be adaptive & supportive of change.
- Provide input to problem solving process and possess good communication skills.
- The work performed in this job can only be done on site; therefore, attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements:
- Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of electronics and PCBA.
- Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to read and understand performance graphs.
- Basic reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules).
- Able to perform basic data entry transactions.
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate and interpret internal documentation.
- Good communication skills and ability to contribute to problem-solving processes.
- Certifications
- IPC-A-610 preferred.
- Must achieve passing scores on the IPC Component Identification and IPC Workmanship Standards courses.
While performing the duties of this position, employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to point, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally, employees may be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close and distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
