Full-Time ReStore Associate
Hourly / Non-Exempt
Tuesday - Friday 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 9:30 AM to 4 PM
Milwaukee Habitat ReStore is a nationally recognized non-profit organization that sells gently used furniture, appliances, building supplies and more to raise funds for Milwaukee Habitat. The Franklin ReStore is looking to build our team. Responsibilities
- Greet donors and take in donations at the Donation Center.
- Price the incoming donations.
- Place donations in the correct departments and merchandise them attractively.
- Assist customers with products they are interested in.
- Assist customers with ringing in their purchases at the cash register.
- Assist customers with carrying out their purchases.
- Work side by side with Volunteers in a team environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Positive attitude, energetic and committed to being at work for scheduled shifts.
- Able to adapt quickly to rapid changes and unexpected shifts in priorities.
- Takes initiative, pays attention to detail, and has a professional demeanor.
- Frequent use of moving equipment to move items; the majority of your day is spent standing or walking.
- Ability to frequently and safely lift and maneuver furniture, appliances, and building material weighing up to 50 pounds.
