Position Title: Industrial Arts Teacher
Job Classification: 10-month employee
Reports to: Principal
Position Summary: Milwaukee Lutheran High School is seeking a full-time Industrial Arts Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year! If you're interested in working for a supportive Christian community that helps students discover their purpose and their potential through outstanding education, Milwaukee Lutheran High School may be a great fit for you. A candidate for this position would be expected to primarily teach courses in welding/metal fabrication and small engines to students in grades 10-12. The candidate should have experience with both stick and wire welding, as well as blueprint reading. An emphasis on establishing and enforcing a safe learning environment is also critical.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Expertise in presenting to small and large audiences
- Ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work productively both as a member of a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail
Essential Job Requirements:
- Ability to maintain concentration and focus on tasks requiring timeliness and accuracy.
- Ability to make presentations to various groups including classrooms, meetings, small group meetings, and one-on-one meetings.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Pay: From $42,000.00 per year
