Job Overview:
The Milwaukee Milkmen are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clubhouse Assistant
to support the day-to-day operations of our clubhouse during the baseball season. This is a
hands-on role that involves working closely with the players, coaches, and other staff members
to ensure the team has everything they need for a successful game day experience. The
Clubhouse Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the upkeep of the clubhouse,
preparing equipment, and ensuring a positive environment for players and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clubhouse Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the team’s clubhouse, including laundry, equipment, and player areas.
- Equipment Management: Ensure all team uniforms, gear, and equipment are properly cleaned, organized, and ready for game days.
- Laundry Services: Wash, dry, fold, and distribute uniforms and other team apparel in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Help track and manage the team’s inventory of uniforms, equipment, and supplies.
- Game Day Preparation: Assist in setting up the clubhouse for home games, including stocking snacks, drinks, and player amenities.
- Support Staff: Assist the coaching staff and players with any additional needs, includingbut not limited to, preparing pre-game meals, helping with team meetings, or arranging travel logistics.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the clubhouse manager or team staff to ensure smooth operations during the season.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; college students with an interest in sports management, athletic training, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse group of people, including players, coaches, and staff.
- Basic knowledge of baseball and the needs of a professional sports team.
- Flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays based on the team's schedule
Previous experience in a clubhouse, sports setting or customer service is a plus.
