Description
The General Maintenance Technician will play an integral role in the behind the scenes workings of an active LORT regional theater. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this part-time position will assist in the day-to-day facility and maintenance operations of the organization.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Basic mechanical duties including minor repairs
- Facility maintenance
- Snow shoveling and grounds upkeep
- Operating building automation systems
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Have availability to work a schedule during typical work hours, some evenings and/or weekends
- Basic mechanical and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to be a quick learner and apply newly learned skills quickly
- Ability to sit and remain in stationary position 70% of the time, up to the duration of a shift
- Moves equipment/material weight up to 50 pounds (unassisted) as well as work on ladders 20% of time
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle, preferred
- Ability to successfully pass a background check

Salary : $14 - $16
