Custodian (M-F 4am-12:30pm)

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is seeking to fill a 1st shift Custodian I position on our Custodial Services team! This position will work 4am to 12:30pm Monday through Friday.

Summary of duties:

• Clean public areas, including classrooms, labs, receiving areas, trash rooms, offices, restrooms/showers, hallways, and lobbies.
• Wipe and clean countertops, tables, windows, furniture, decorative objects, toilets, sinks, and floors
• Move furniture as needed
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Vacuum carpets; sweep and mop tile floors; and clean any spills that occur, including biohazardous materials and substances.
• Operate cleaning equipment including but not limited to vacuums, brooms, mops and moping buckets, automatic scrubbers, carpet extractors and buffers.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and up to one hundred (100) pounds with assistance.
