The Machine Operator 3 Temper Room is responsible for operating production equipment and meeting area production goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload Ispen Turbo Treater, Seco Tempers & DMP Cryos in a timely manner to ensure a constant flow of product through the area and maximize efficiency.
• Pull and identify samples from loads and log them into the quality lab for inspection.
• Verify correct recipe or program is being run.
• Monitor the cycles of the equipment to verify process is running correctly without excessive wait time.
• Move released loads to separation area and stage in separation stations.
• Move overflow cold form loads to / from department 2653 for processing.
• Load coil stock on all hole saw lines.
• Keeps sorters supplied with parts by moving loads from / to the temper room.
• Keeps sorters supplied with empty trays, baskets and / or tubs.
• Checks and signs all move tickets making sure the count and part number is correct before moving them into the temper room.
• Writes up cold form loads for welders if needed.
• Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area.
• Practice 5S.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of machine operation experience preferred
• Forklift certification
