Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to operate numerous types of equipment with high productivity and quality levels
- Abide by all safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees
- Safely operate stamping presses, assembly and machining equipment
- Proficient in using PLC (programable logic controller), loading and unloading machines, detailed inspections, ability to use measuring devices and gauges to check tolerances within several thousandths, and final assembly and packaging (box construction, label placement and taping) of products
- Ability to work on a raised platform safely
- Ability to operate a computer
- Perform repetitive operations, according to provided work instructions
- Use fixtures, jigs, hand tools as necessary, to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts
- Be alert to detect obvious defects and take necessary measures to correct
- Proactively work with team members to meet production goals
- Other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs
- Perform in process Quality checks as required
- High School diploma, or equivalent, preferred
- Display great attention to detail
- Requires ability to follow oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read and understand provided work instructions
- Basic math skills
