The Senior Firmware Engineer – Scrum Master is a part of our Battery Platform Electronics team. You will help define, improve, and lead the Agile development process of the Battery Firmware/Electronics team to deliver quality products and features.

You’ll also be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Drive the Agile Development process (SCRUM) for embedded system development teams
• Guide Agile project teams through the new product development process
• Coordinate typical Agile planning, standup, and retrospective activities
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile practices (DevOps)
• Facilitate the development and refinement of engineering requirements based on marketing and user needs
• Drive design and implementation of new embedded software features
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
• Provide candid and effective communications up, down and across the organization on progress, barrier removal and escalation of business risks/opportunities.
• Drive urgency in project schedules and accountability for establishing and achieving key project metrics that meet the organization’s needs.
• Serve as a role model of Milwaukee Tool’s culture while mentoring, guiding, and coaching junior Engineers.
  
  

What TOOLS You’ll Bring With You

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field
• 4 years working with embedded C/C software/firmware in an Agile Development environment
• Knowledge and practical experience in all software development lifecycle phases.
• Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, exercises independent judgement and works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• SCRUM Master or other Agile process training
• Experience with Azure DevOps, automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
