We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at a nursing home. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification from an accredited medication aid program, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes in condition
- Observe residents for expected actions and report any adverse reactions or changes in behavior
- Prepare verbal and written reports related to medication administration and resident care
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification from an accredited medication aid program
- No experience necessary, but two years experience as a C.N.A. or Nurse Aide is preferred
