Surgical Tech - Sign/On Bonus!
At Mimbres Memorial Hospital and Nursing Home located in beautiful Deming, New Mexico, we take caring for people very personally. Eligible for one of the following sign-on/retention bonus:
$15,000.00-3 year commitment
$20,000.00-4 year commitment
$25,000.00-5 year commitment
Eligible for up to $5,000.00 relocation of over 50 miles/3 year commitment
Job Summary:
- Under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, performs specified technical tasks, scrubs on surgical procedures, functions in all areas of Sterile Processing, pulls cases, organizes supplies, and sets up equipment for procedures.
- "On Call" hours are an essential function of this position.
- Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
- Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.
Qualifications:
- Completion of surgical tech educational program preferred.
- One year experience as a Surgical Tech; two years experience preferred.
- BLS Certification or obtain per policy upon hire; maintain such certification.
- NBSTSA or equivalent preferred.
