At Mimecast, we’re looking for an Account Manager to drive revenue by nurturing and expanding relationships with our existing customers. Your role will be essential in delivering innovative solutions and ensuring high customer retention in a rapidly growing environment. This position is part of our dynamic Commercial Customer Development team.
What You'll Do:
- Develop Opportunities: Proactively identify upsell opportunities within our current customer base to maximize revenue potential.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage Pipeline: Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and account activities, focusing on growth and retention.
- Achieve Quotas: Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the Partner/Channel Development team to implement effective account plans and strategies.
- Provide Market Insights: Stay informed on industry trends and customer needs to uncover new opportunities for growth.
- Support Sales Enablement: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance sales tools, methodologies, and reporting processes.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience in IT sales, ideally within Email, Messaging, Security, or Storage, with a strong focus on account management and upselling.
- Excellent consultative selling skills and a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points.
- Familiarity with corporate IT buying processes and experience navigating complex sales environments.
- Strong communication skills and a results-oriented mindset, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a high-performance and dynamic environment, showcasing a proactive and can-do attitude.
