Child Care Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, fostering their growth and development through engaging activities. This role requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and the ability to manage a classroom effectively. The Child Care Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote childhood development.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Provide care for children, including toddlers, while addressing their individual needs.
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play and educational activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall childcare program.
• Assist children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring inclusive practices are followed.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain accurate records of incidents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings. (Associate Degree is Preferred.)
• Strong skills in classroom management to create an effective learning environment.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
• Experience working with children with disabilities is preferred but not mandatory.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide toddler care and support for various age groups within the daycare setting.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
• A genuine passion for caregiving and nurturing children's growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
