Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Completion of a driver education instructor training program Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience teaching driver education to students of all ages Experience working with diverse student populations
Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience using technology to enhance instruction
Responsibilities:
- Teach students the rules of the road and safe driving practices
- Provide hands-on driving instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their driving skills
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
Skills:
As a Driver Education Instructor, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment. You will also use your strong organizational and time management skills to develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students.
