Compensation: up to $83,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Compensation: up to $83,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Position Summary:
- Provide direct clinical services and consultation services in accordance with the policies and procedures as well as abide by the licensing standards of the applicable licensing board (e.g. Social Work, Counseling or Psychology).
- Communicate and work effectively with other Mental Health Services staff, personnel, clients and outside support agencies.
- Provide educational group and individual services to participants with the goals of reducing maladaptive behavior and fostering effective, pro-social functioning. Duties include, but are not limited to, screening, facilitation and documentation of participation in each session in accordance with the policy and procedures of Mental Health Services.
- Provide crisis intervention services to clients as referred by the staff, medical staff or client self-referral. Crisis intervention is required when a client demonstrates self-violence, suicidal behavior, psychotic behavior or severe and/or observable psychological distress. Crisis intervention duties may be assigned as needed and may include altering the regular work schedule to include nights and weekends.
- Discharge patients from crisis intervention housing.
- Provide consultation services to committees as assigned as well as consultation to institutional staff concerning the mental status and management of clients.
- Provide documentation in the EMR of the client's treatment in accordance with Mental Health Services policy and procedure.
- Monitor the client's mental condition as appropriate.
- Participate in staff meetings and in-service training programs.
- Complete assigned tasks including supporting documentation in the designated time frames.
- Work nights and weekends as required.
- Will be assigned to on-call rotation as directed by the Division Director.
- Abide by established conduct standards; speak and interact with clients, employees, etc. in a professional manner.
- Adhere to all safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Attend training as required to maintain current licensure.

- Experience and Licenses: Requires a minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or a related behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
- Requires a minimum of the following: LGSW, LCSW, LPC or Psychology license.
- Abide by all licensure board requirements.
- Must have professional experience or working knowledge which indicates understanding of mental health counseling, group and individual support services, and behavioral management/modification techniques.
