About the Role
The MindCare Psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, maintain accurate medical records, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated and coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health disorders
- Maintain up-to-date medical records in compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and staff to provide seamless patient care
- Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards, and contracts
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry (within 1 year of residency completion)
- Proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
