Clinical Psychologist – Site Medical Director
MindCare Solutions, a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking a Site Medical Director – Clinical Psychologist to lead mental health services in a juvenile corrections facility. Schedule : Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
Compensation : Up to $166,000 / yr (based on experience and contract type)
Location : Monroe Township, NJ
Sign-On or Relocation Bonus : Sign-on bonus OR relocation assistance up to $20,000.
Please note, a two-year commitment of employment is required to qualify for this bonus or relocation assistance .Position Summary :
As the Clinical Psychologist / Site Medical Director, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, overseeing comprehensive mental health services for incarcerated individuals. Your responsibilities include providing clinical expertise, administrative oversight, and strategic direction to ensure exceptional care and strict compliance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the rehabilitation and mental health needs of those in your care. Sex offender experience is required.

Key Responsibilities :
Provide clinical supervision and oversight to mental health staff, including psychologists, therapists, and support personnel.Conduct complex psychological assessments and evaluations for inmates, particularly in high-priority or challenging cases.The Clinical Psychologist / Medical Director will develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, ensuring evidence-based approaches are applied.Monitor the implementation of mental health programs and interventions to ensure quality and efficacy.The Clinical Psychologist / Medical Director will respond to and manage mental health crises, including overseeing acute psychiatric interventionsEstablish and enforce mental health policies, procedures, and protocols in line with facility guidelines and state / federal regulations.The Clinical Psychologist / Medical Director will lead staff recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a skilled and effective mental health team.Collaborate with correctional leadership, medical personnel, and external stakeholders to align mental health services with institutional goals.Maintain comprehensive records of all clinical and administrative activities, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.All other duties as assignedQualifications :
An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilitiesSex Offender Experience RequiredForensic Psychology Experience PreferredPh.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited university (required)Current, unrestricted Clinical or Counseling Psychologist license in the State of New Jersey (required)Applicants must successfully pass the required criminal background checkPrevious experience in a leadership role, such as Medical Director, strongly preferredCapable of preparing written reports and able to handle legal depositions and court hearings.Have excellent skills in diagnostic assessment and counselingThis position requires sound clinical judgment, professionalism, and independenceBenefits :
