Description:

We are pleased to announce an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow at our Omaha, NE location, beginning in Spring 2025, or earlier if availability aligns. This position is initially a one-year appointment, with the potential for continued employment after the one-year period. We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses a strong passion for client facing clinical practice, as well as an interest in applied research initiatives. While the role is primarily clinical, it also involves collaborative writing on professional practice topics, participating in systems projects such as outcome data collection and analysis, and engaging in editorial activities for peer reviewed behavior analytic journals. We have a developing applied research infrastructure, providing candidates completing their doctoral dissertations with dedicated space and comprehensive support to do so. The position offers direct mentorship and the chance to collaborate on research and projects alongside the organization’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Amber Valentino. There are also opportunities to collaborate with other esteemed clinical advisors on our advisory board.

  • Collaborative Writer: Experience or interest in writing on professional practice issues, demonstrating the ability to articulate and share insights effectively.
  • Analytical Thinker: Ability to participate in systems projects, including outcome data collection and analysis, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Mentorship and Interprofessional Collaboration: A willingness to engage in mentorship opportunities and collaborate with senior leadership.
  • Adaptable Learner: Open to gaining knowledge about clinical operations, people and culture initiatives, and business strategies within a dynamic organizational environment.
  • Proactive and Self-Motivated: Demonstrated initiative and drive to seek out opportunities for professional growth and development within the field.

Minimum requirements for this position include:

  • Obtained or in the process of obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree
  • Maintain active BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing
  • Maintain active state licensure if required

Requirements:
