Our Clinical Intake Specialists are Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs), with deep clinical knowledge and background, who provide initial mental health interviews and evaluation for patients seeking treatment at Mindful Care. Knowledge in understanding the implications of the Biological, Psychological, and social factors of our patients' lives and experiences is expected to make recommendations for the services we provide, as they embark on their mental health and / or recovery journey with us. Our LMSWs will fully assess and collaborate with patients and other members of the clinical team to ensure that patients are educated and have a strong treatment plan to follow at Mindful Care.
Our Clinical Intake Specialists :
- Perform Initial Evaluations (90791s) for all patients seeking care at Mindful
- Become SMEs on the variety of services at Mindful and help formulate Treatment Plans based on individual needs of the patients
- Attend clinical meetings
- Provide coverage for the Therapy department when needed
- Participate in department training and collaborate with other treatment providers
- Following strict ethical and clinical guidelines
- Exhibit a patient-first / patient-focused mentality
