We are currently expanding our services and seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team. This position offers flexibility, professional autonomy, and the opportunity to provide both in-person and virtual services.
Job Description:
We are looking for a licensed Clinical Psychologist (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting a variety of assessments, including:
- Autism Spectrum Evaluations
- Psychoeducational & Learning Disability Evaluations
- ADHD Testing & Intellectual Assessments
- Psychological & Personality Assessments
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to provide in-person assessments at our Newport News office while offering virtual consultations and follow-ups for clients across Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals across the lifespan
- Administer, score, and interpret standardized cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Provide diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on assessment results
- Prepare detailed psychological reports in compliance with ethical and professional standards
- Offer consultations to clients, families, and referring professionals to review findings
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations and uphold high clinical documentation standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care
Qualifications:
- Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Virginia (active & in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year of post-licensure experience (preferred)
- Strong experience in psychological testing, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting Autism, ADHD, and psychoeducational assessments
- Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services
- Excellent clinical judgment, report writing, and communication skills
