Job Overview
Mindful Mending is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client population, including children, adults, and individuals navigating trauma. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions. Key Responsibilities
Therapeutic Services:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients’ mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and client goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including trauma modalities and play therapies, when applicable.
Collaboration & Case Management:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care, including coordinating with psychopharmacology providers when appropriate.
- Offer case management services to connect clients with resources and support networks.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize ICD-10 coding for documentation and billing purposes.
Client-Centered Care:
- Create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered and respected.
- Demonstrate cultural humility and provide services aligned with anti-racist, anti-oppression, and social justice principles.
Requirements
Education:
- Master’s degree in mental health field
Licensure:
- mental health license/certification in the state of Kentucky
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience post-unrestricted licensure (for fully licensed clinicians).
- Experience in case management and working with individuals
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluations, ICD-10 coding, and evidence-based interventions.
- Knowledge of play therapies or trauma modalities is a plus.
Schedule:
- Part-time (25 hours) or full-time (30 hours) availability.
- Employees are required to work 6 hours per week starting at 4 PM or later on weeknights or one weekend shift(6 hours) to meet client needs.
