Mental Health Practitioner

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in providing Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS). The ideal candidate will support individuals with mental health challenges in achieving their personal recovery goals through skill development, community integration, and support services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support services to adults with mental health diagnoses, focusing on skill-building and rehabilitation.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their support networks.
• Facilitate skill development in areas such as daily living, socialization, and coping strategies.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including progress notes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, case managers, and community resources.
• Educate clients and families about mental health resources and recovery strategies.
• Participate in training and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid Minnesota Mental Health Practitioner registration or equivalent licensure.
• Experience in providing mental health services, particularly with ARMHS populations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of mental health resources and community services in Minnesota.
