Position Overview: We are looking for skilled Clinical Supervisors who are passionate about supporting and developing new clinicians. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will guide supervisees in their clinical work, focusing on client consultation, professional identity, relationality, caseload management, ethics, and documentation. The role offers the opportunity to mentor therapists without a caseload or direct report responsibilities.
Location: Therapy Austin (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)

What You’ll Do:

Provide weekly supervision for up to 6 supervisees, including:
- Every other week individual or dyad supervision
- Every other week group supervision
- Offer guidance on client cases, professional development, ethical practices, and documentation requirements
- Maintain and document supervision sessions (individual, dyad, and group) in a timely manner
- Be available to supervisees for brief consultations or emergencies outside of regular meeting times
- Attend biweekly Supervisor Meetings with Clinical Directors
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including HIPAA and Therapy Austin’s internal policies and documentation auditing protocols
- Maintain thorough documentation for each supervisee (e.g., supervision contract, supervision record, tracking of hours)
- Provide a balance of encouragement, constructive feedback, and reflective insight to foster clinical growth
- Stay current with agency communications and policy changes
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an LPC-S in good standing with the licensing board
- Demonstrate commitment to Therapy Austin’s values: compassion, kindness, patience, resiliency, and a collaborative spirit
- Proven track record of high-level responsiveness to both clients and coworkers
- A passion for professional development and self-reflection
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities
- High ethical standards and a commitment to best clinical practices
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with documentation software and communication tools
- Ability to commit to at least 12 months in this role
- A willingness to provide a minimum of 3 months’ notice if stepping down from the role
Compensation:

$200 per supervisee per month stipend
(Supervisors are compensated based on the number of supervisees assigned to them, with up to 6 supervisees possible)
Additional Requirements:
- Attend biweekly Supervision Consultation meetings
- Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, Policy and Procedure Manual, and Client Contract
