Title: Business Analyst Premium II
Duration: 8 months with extensions
Location: Washington DC 20433
Overview:
Deep understanding of Agile concepts and ceremonies, SCRUM, Kanban and SAFe.
Collaboration with Product Owners to define the MVP and prioritize the backlog. Focus on delivering through iterative releases.
Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and backlog refinement, user story mapping and workshops.
Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Maintain a well-organized and prioritized backlog in alignment with business goals.
Acts as a bridge between the development, QA, design and business teams.
Lead discussions, gather feedback and make sure of common shared understanding.
Skilled at documentation and visualization of process into workflows and wireframes
Developing test plans, test strategies and test cases.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, certification in SAFe 6.0 is a plus
Professional certifications, such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus
Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate well with all levels, technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work directly with business users and management without supervision and to facilitate and navigate discussions with stakeholders to ensure clarity, prioritization, and consensus.
Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Excellent personal organization skills and ability to take things to closure without follow-ups.
