Position Summary:
Title: Architect Premium III
Duration: 5 Months - Long Term
Location: Washington, DC 20433
Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days onsite per week from Day 1.
Client is looking for someone with:
Solid security professional with a focus on understanding architecture diagrams and dealing with stressful workloads.
The role involves supporting the entire project scope and sometimes extending into business-led initiatives.
Candidates will learn from working on various solution architectures and will need to lead reviews to gather details for accurate security requirements.
The role requires good communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain complex technology to both technical and business stakeholders.
Collaboration with various teams, including the Enterprise Architect team, CFA team, security engineering team, and Cloud team, is essential.
Top skills required:
Solid security experience, knowledge of AI, and experience with agile DevSecOps and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM – Azure Resource Manager, Ansible etc.)
Professional-level certifications in major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) are required, with a preference for Azure due to the organization's 80% usage.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in the past five to eight years, especially in security reviews and compliance frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have a background in development and has upskilled to become a security architect, focusing on cybersecurity rather than compliance.
Certification Requirements:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a plus.
GCP, AWS or Microsoft Certified Cloud Solution Architect certification is a plus.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of IT, enterprise architecture, software development life cycle, and information security platforms and applications.
Work independently with minimal supervision, and ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), demonstrating proficiency in automating and managing infrastructure through code.
Extensive knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI is essential, with the ability to apply these technologies to solve complex problems.
Strong experience in API security is required, ensuring the protection and integrity of APIs through robust security practices and protocols.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
