What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Driver position at Mindlance?
Picks, pulls and packs tractor parts weighing up to 70 lbs. Operate different types of forklifts, pallet jacks and tailor duns. Will complete a forklift operations and fundamentals class after 90 days of employment, certification provided if passed.
Position Title : Forklift
Specific Position Requirements : Forklift Drivers- Location Miami Florida
2nd shift 10 : 30am to 7pm

This position is responsible for the replenishment of all areas of the factory. This position also performs maintenance of material handling equipment and must be able to load and unload trailers as well as replenish weld booths and assembly areas.
1. Operates and drives electric-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices.
2. Responsible for moving products, equipment, or materials in warehouse, storage yard, or factory.
3. Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
4. Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
5. Assist the team with continuous improvement in safety, ergonomics, quality, production, parts presentation, maintenance, and materials management.
Physical Requirements :
Lifting up-to 50LBS repeatedly
Standing for long periods of time
Bending / Stooping / Walking / kneeling, Etc.
Required Skills :
Valid driver's license
Must be 18 years of age
Previous forklift experience is required
Good attendance record, safety record, observance of the company policies and work rules, performance on prior jobs
Good Communication Skills
Computer Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, E-mail)
Hours - Monday- Friday 10 : 30 am to 7pm (2nd SHift)
OT is required if needed on Saturdays and possible some holidays
Forklift and Taylor Dunn's will be used in daily operations
