Job title: Medical Lab Tech
Location: Graham NC
Shift/Work Schedule - 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Duration -3 months (possible extension)
Eligibility:
U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position
Requirements:
- 6 months clinical lab testing experience
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- ASCP certification preferred
- Strong teamwork & independent work skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess specimen acceptability per guidelines
- Conduct routine & complex lab procedures
- Operate, monitor & troubleshoot lab instruments
- Perform quality control & maintenance
- Manage bench supplies & assist in specimen processing
- Ensure a safe work environment with PPE compliance
Preferred Testing Familiarity:
- Kit Testing: BD Veritor Flu, Osom Strep A, SureView UHCG
- DCA Vantage HA1C, Urinalysis Clinitek Status
- Sysmex Poch-100i (No manual smear reviews)
- Manual Urine Microscopic Evaluations & Wet Prep
Education:
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s in Medical Lab Science or equivalent
