Benefits Administration Product Designer
Job Description/Role Intention

Our Benefits Administration team supports this commitment by designing human-centered, intuitive experiences enabling our members to take full advantage of their health plan benefits. We are seeking a product designer to drive the user experience and design of Benefits Administration experiences, ensuring they are intuitive, efficient, and supportive of our organizational goals.
- The Benefits Administration product designer will be responsible for understanding and enhancing Benefits Administration experiences. This role requires a dedication to improving the health plan experience of our members, empowering them to effortlessly understand and engage with their health plan benefits while driving business objectives.
Responsibilities
User Research & Analysis
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand priorities, success criteria and objectives related to health plan engagement.
- Analyze member needs and the tasks they perform within their health plan.
- Define common user types and journey maps to guide design efforts.
Design Leadership
- Create intuitive and efficient user interfaces that empower members to understand and engage with their health plan benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and customer support to align design objectives with platform capabilities.
- Advocate for user-centered design practices and ensure consistent application of design principles.
Prototyping & Testing
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications.
- Lead evaluative testing sessions and iterate on designs based on feedback.
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met or exceeded.
Project Management
- Drive projects from concept to execution, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are optimally utilized.
- Communicate design strategy and updates to stakeholders and teams across the organization.
- Assess project outcomes and iterate on process improvements.
Skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in user experience design, with a focus on highly-regulated industries (healthcare, finance, insurance).
- Proven track record of designing intuitive and scalable user interfaces for complex, configurable product experiences
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g. Figma).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive, solution-driven mindset with a dedication to continuous learning and improvement

Education
- Bachelor's degree required in HCI, Product Design, UX or related fields
