Job Description
As a SharePoint Consultant you will join a large team of SharePoint experts responsible for ensuring the successful migration of our SharePoint 2007 Site Solutions to SharePoint Online (SPO) while supporting users and site solutions across both platforms. This role will include the combination of understanding user needs, project management, quality control, requirements gathering, as well as designing and building solutions using SPO. This role will work closely with the R&D Divisional Collaboration Leads to support their migration project plans.
Working with the Divisional Collaboration Leads you will be expected to manage and implement tasks and deliverables associated with a SharePoint Site migration plan and/or full or partial site recreation including but not limited to:
• Readying a SharePoint 2007 Site for Migration
• Quality Check the SPO Site Post Migration for completeness
• Using migration tools to migrate site or portions of site
• Building new sites and designing landing pages in SPO
• Building and designing new sub sites in SPO
• Configuring SPO Sites (including enhanced site setups)
• Creating security models and implementing site permissions
• Creating and maintaining site documentation
• Archiving sites
• Metrics
In delivering this work, you will be expected to:
• Have strong Customer Service Skills
• Troubleshoot user challenges with SharePoint Sites
• Share best practices that apply across businesses and regions
• Communicate clearly, apply strong writing and presentation skills
• Work independently and within a team structure
• Understand and support SharePoint services model
Qualifications
Proficient in SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint Online Collaboration Sites.
Excellent project management, customer service, and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Strong computer skills including MS Office and especially a demonstrated mastery of SharePoint. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and other scripting languages a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Additional Information:
Provide system administration tasks for global medical information system, including but not limited to: testing PI’s, adding quick codes, adding & maintaining system dictionaries & drop-down lists, creation of header (images), signature images as well as ad hoc reports from within the application query tools. Provide system administration for medical information system.
• Minimum of High School Diploma required
• Proficient computer skills required (MS Word)
• Excellent communication skills required
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
• Attention to detail a must
• Ability to administer Siebel/Documentum and MicroEdge systems globally
