What are the responsibilities and job description for the Validation Technician position at Mindlance?
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Only open for LOCAL CANDIDATES
- Experience : Test technician or Systems technician for processor systems or HW Validation technician.
- Electrical or electronic technician with some SW expertise in Python or similar
- Familiar with board ass’y and rework process
- Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
- Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
- Perform initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced and fluid environment
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and driven. Some degree of judgement required in resolving nonstandard problems.
- Good communication skills and able to work within a diverse team
- Ability to assemble / rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with Windows OS, experience updating / configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog etc)
