Note: We are specifically looking for candidates with recent and robust medical information experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong preference for those who have worked with payer related assets such as AMCP dossiers, compendia, Medicaid testimony etc.
Candidates who would likely not be a good fit include those with a strict Medical Affairs strategy or Regulatory or R&D background and limited or not relevant medical writing experience.
Medical Writing Specialist, Medical Information, Payer & Health Systems is responsible for leading the development of scientific materials for healthcare payers and systems, supporting the creation of strategic dossiers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise in medical writing, healthcare systems, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop evidence-based scientific materials for therapeutic area products, including AMCP dossiers and Medicaid formulary requests.
- Collaborate with RW V&E, Medical Affairs, and other teams to create and deliver responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests.
- Contribute to the development of Payer Digital Assets in partnership with Digital teams.
- Support interactions with drug compendia and evaluate strategies for compendia engagement.
- Utilize customer feedback and data to refine Payer and Health Systems materials.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and research, including benchmarking Payer and healthcare intermediary landscapes.
