The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) role at Natalis involves the clinician providing diagnostic and medication management services to patients of Natalis. The clinician can expect to collaborate with other members of the psychiatry team, as well as psychologists and therapists at Natalis. Because Natalis is a training clinic, the clinician may have opportunities to assist in training of other PA, NP and medical students training by being available to be shadowed during those students rotations. The NP will be provided with administrative support for prior authorizations, prescriptions and basic phone calls. Natalis is partnered with Genoa pharmacies, and they also provide support for the clinician and patients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct patient assessments and provide care consistent with accepted professional standards, including evaluations, treatment, referral, and related documentation.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management
- Attend case consultations and collaborate with other providers within the clinic.
- Willing to assist in training experiences of rotating students (PAs, NPs or medical students)
