What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cognitive & Behavioral Therapy Supervisor position at Minds Matter, LLC?
Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Director of Rehabilitation Services the Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight of Cognitive Therapists and Behavioral Therapists (CT/BT).
Primary Functions:
- Know and implement all aspects of Minds Matter, LLC philosophical principles for effective service delivery. Integrate the philosophy throughout all conversations with therapists.
- Supervise CT/BT as it relates to documentation procedures, coordinating therapies and/or other activities related to consumer services.
- Participate in onboarding and development of new CT/BT staff.
- Provide supervision monthly to therapist . Supervision may include, but is not limited to: monthly educational webinar , bi-monthly conferences and documentation review
- Provide support and direction as set by Regional Rehabilitation Directors (RRDs).
- Track and maintain an electronic record of all supervision activities
- Assist with caseload assignments as needed.
- Assist CT/BTin goal setting and ongoing service delivery to ensure the consumer’s goals are met.
- Provide coaching and development for CT/BT. .
- Attend all trainings and workshops to maintain ability to provide the most up to date, effective and evidence based practice.
- Be aware of departmental goals and objectives, and take an active role in helping the department to attain goals.
- Establish and maintain a professional rapport with all consumers, co-workers, referral agents and representatives of other community agencies and services, including attendance at planning meetings, etc.
- Promote public relations throughout the agency and community for the program.
- Demonstrate a willingness to serve on agency and interagency task groups as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the discipline specific coordinator you are working with.
Qualifications:
Requires Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker designation
Ability to supervise multiple staff.
Ability to effectively plan, coordinate and assist with all aspects of therapy transitional service delivery.
