Minds of Tomorrow Miami - Creative Tech Programs for Kids.

With hubs located in MiMo, Key Biscayne, and South Miami, and partnerships with schools and institutions spanning across Miami-Dade, we strive to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Position Overview

As a Mentor at Minds of Tomorrow, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering creativity and technological literacy in children through engaging camps and programs. We welcome applicants from various disciplines including education, childhood development, psychology, arts, design, media, music, science, engineering, and computer science, who are passionate about inspiring creativity in young minds.

  • Must be eligible to pass a background check through the Department of Children and Families

Requirements

  • Passion for Education and Creativity: You should be genuinely enthusiastic about education and working with children.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Clear communication is crucial for connecting with students, parents, and team members.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing situations and respond to the needs of individual campers.
  • Availability for Shifts: Flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, allowing you to choose morning or afternoon shifts.
  • Reliable Transportation: Ability to travel to hubs, schools, and events reliably with materials for sessions.
  • Willingness to Learn: Excited about gaining hands-on classroom experience and implementing your ideas to inspire future generations.

Compensation

  • Hourly pay ranging from $16 to $20, depending on experience and performance in the first two months.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.64 - $20.11 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 12 per week
