What are the responsibilities and job description for the Functional Epicor Kinetic Consultant position at Mindset Consulting, LLC?
Duration : 6 month contract
Location : On-site Monday-Friday in Wichita, KS (travel expenses will be paid)
We are seeking a skilled Functional Epicor Kinetic Consultant to support a critical ERP transition from Epicor Vantage to Kinetic. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the Epicor Kinetic ERP system and a strong functional background to bridge the gap during this transition period. This individual will also provide interim support for Epicor Vantage while focusing on ensuring a successful cutover to Kinetic.
Key Responsibilities :
Kinetic Implementation Support :
Serve as the functional expert during the Epicor Kinetic upgrade project.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of the upgrade.
Support cutover activities during the transition period and assist in ensuring a seamless go-live experience.
Interim Epicor Vantage Functional Support :
Provide hands-on functional support for Epicor Vantage, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system stability until the Kinetic cutover is complete.
Process Optimization :
Analyze current business processes and workflows under Vantage and align them with Kinetic best practices.
Recommend and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Training & Knowledge Transfer :
Train and support full-time employees who will assume functional responsibilities after the contract period ends.
Develop comprehensive documentation and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Collaboration & Troubleshooting :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality.
Troubleshoot functional issues in both Vantage and Kinetic systems and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
3 years of experience working with Epicor Kinetic ERP solutions, including functional implementation and support.
Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing and distribution industries.
Experience with Epicor Vantage and transitioning between ERP systems is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
