Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spanish Speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LMSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals at a senior residence in Westchester County, focusing on those with developmental disabilities and other complex needs. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote emotional well-being and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide individual and group counseling services, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client requirements.
Maintain accurate medical documenttaion in compliance with regulatory standards, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic support for clients.
Engage in community outreach efforts to promote awareness of available services and resources for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on skill development, coping strategies, and peer support.
Provide ongoing support and advocacy for clients within the senior residence.
Qualifications :
A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
Valid LCSW or LMSW license in the state of practice is mandatory.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes is essential.
Strong skills in crisis intervention techniques are highly desirable.
Previous experience facilitating group therapy sessions is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
