Job Title : IT Helpdesk
Contract Period : 1 year
Work Location : Kokomo, IN 46901
Primary Responsibilities :
- Serve as the initial point of contact for internal applications, hardware, mobile, and remote technology in a manufacturing environment
- Log, categorize, and action all incoming ticket activity in the Helpdesk Ticketing system
- Follow up on outstanding issues with customers regarding status and closure of incidents / requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
- Document procedures, FAQs, and maintain an inventory of assets
- Isolate problem trends and troubleshoot recurring issues until permanent solutions are discovered
- Provide technical advice to executive-level personnel and their assistants based on developed expertise in IT
- Offer exceptional IT support to customers at the C-level, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Build trust and good relationships with customers and act as a bridge between customers and the consulting group for new business opportunities
- Administer the company security program
- Manage the company VPN and IT policy and application form creation
- Provide VIP and business traveler support
- Clean up the IT server room and follow up on any issues within the IT room
- Check network and file server issues and cooperate with the network and server teams
- Repair PCs and laptops and resolve software issues
- Manage security applications
- Troubleshoot Windows and printer issues
- Apply basic server and network knowledge
