Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Dalton, GA. This role will involve supporting our warehouse facility with SAP/ERP/WMS data input and management, alongside various operational tasks. The position offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in logistics, inventory management, and customer service within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP/ERP/WMS Data Entry and Management:
Input and maintain data related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse operations.
Ensure data accuracy and make adjustments as needed to reflect changes.
Generate reports from the SAP/ERP system to assist warehouse activities.
Truck Arrangements:
Sign drivers in and out of the facility and direct them to appropriate loading/unloading bays.
Maintain accurate vehicle activity logs.
Paperwork Verification:
Verify incoming and outgoing paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain organized records of bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documents.
Monthly Inventory and Invoicing:
Assist with monthly inventory counts and reconciliations.
Compile monthly invoices for the finance department based on shipment data.
Trailer and Yard Management:
Manage trailer inventory and maintain accurate door assignment records.
Reconcile inbound shipments and coordinate trailer activities in the yard.
Customer Service:
Provide internal and external customer service regarding shipment status, inventory issues, and other inquiries.
Clerical and Administrative Support:
Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
Assist the warehouse team with administrative duties as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist with special projects or urgent operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP systems or a strong willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Willingness to perform both clerical and operational tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
