Position: Inbound Logistics Coordinator
Contract Period: 1 Year
Location: Duluth, GA 30096
Work Hours: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM, with overtime as required
Job Summary:
The Inbound Logistics Coordinator will oversee the preparation and coordination of ocean import shipments, manage the distribution of import documents, and provide general business support as needed. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless shipment processing and documentation management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shipment Preparation:
- Organize ocean import shipments for assigned customers, including customs clearance and tracking vessel schedules.
- Document Distribution:
- Prepare and share import documents with the brokerage department and/or customer’s broker.
- Coordination:
- Liaise with trucking companies, airlines, steamship lines, and bonded facilities to ensure timely order delivery.
- Data Management:
- File and enter shipment-related data accurately.
- Invoicing:
- Issue freight bills and invoices to brokers; follow up on unpaid invoices within agreed credit terms.
- Team Collaboration:
- Assist with various tasks and projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in drayage operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong computer skills.
- Familiarity with steamship line websites and schedules.
- Basic understanding of international commerce (Incoterms, customs regulations, etc.) is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in work schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Salary : $20 - $25
