Psychotherapist

MindSpa Therapy fosters a culture of going above and beyond for our clients as well as our therapists! Our practice is growing and looking for energetic, diligent, and passionate therapists! This is a part-time or full-time role for a Licensed Psychotherapist at MindSpa Therapy & Counseling in East Brunswick, NJ with opportunity for professional growth. The Licensed Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing counseling, mental health support, and relationship counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based individual treatment to clients
• Use measurement-based care to inform treatment planning
• Collaborate with other care team members
• Provide feedback training protocols/ methodologies
• Maintain awareness of risk management issues
• Complete documentation in a timely and thorough manner
• Participate in initial and ongoing trainings on the application of evidence-based and tech-enhanced care delivery
  
  

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution
• Licensed in NJ
• At least a year of experience providing psychotherapy in a private practice or community mental health center (can include internship)
• Strong ability to connect and create client relationships
• Must be licensed: LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC
• Knowledge of mental health conditions, treatments, and ethical practices
• Compassionate, non-judgmental, and empathetic attitude towards clients
