Development Associate / Executive Assistant
(Hybrid in Chicago)
Our client – a nonprofit focused on local policy and education - is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious junior associate to advance fundraising efforts and provide administrative support to a c-suite executive.

What you get to do
Administrative Support:
- Manage calendar, book travel and track expenses
- Draft communications and presentations
- Support meeting prep by creating agendas and/or documents. Attend meetings and track minutes/deliverables
Development Support:
- Donor relations, including processing and recording donations, tracking donor info, sending follow-up communications, resolving issues, etc.
- Identify new donor prospects and conduct research/compile reports to share with clients on top leads
- Manage database and produce reports (using Excel and Salesforce)
- Virtual and in-person event coordination
What you need to get the job done
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-4 years' of professional experience
- Experience using Excel
- Previous exposure to Salesforce preferred, but not required
- Interest in public policy reform
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn and a customer-service mindset

Compensation Range: $60k-$65k DOE
