We are seeking a Leasing Coordinator/Agent in Washington DC
As a Leasing Coordinator/Agent, you will start by building a pipeline of leads and your client portfolio. This will involve keeping track of leads, following up via phone or e-mail, and showing space to prospective tenants. Once you have built up your client portfolio, you have the option to become a Leasing Agent, making pure 50-70% commission on the leasing and sales fees depending on volume.

Goals & Responsibilities:
- Make calls on Landlord Listings and send out brochures on the properties.
- Promote Conversions if the Tenant is in expansion mode but not looking at the area of the shopping center you initially called them, then add them to your conversion sheet.
- Put the leads on Live Docs which you can access from any computer.
- Use Resquared, Costar, Loopnet, Reonomy, Crexi, Placer, Sites USA, Datavu and Plain Vanilla Shell to conduct market research. These are all databases that help leasing agents and Coordinators make money.
- Assist the Broker with her clients both LL and TT for filling vacancies and finding sites.
- Shoot for 100-150 calls per day. With the databases, this is very easy and a great way to build your pipeline!
- Copy lead person on all outgoing emails when working as a team on properties and with Tenant work.
- Bring in new centers and Tenants and earn 10% more commission on them.
- With the help from the Marketing Department, work on Tours with clients and spreadsheets to make them look great and organized. (See included example.)
- Keep up to date on industry news and local activity
- If you want to work from home if you live more than 30-40 minutes from the office for up to 2 days a week, just be productive at home and use live docs to stay up to date on everything so you have good records for your hard work.
- Use the pending deals report to track your potential leads and deals so you can have a great follow up report
- Send Facebook and Instagram messages too as many retailers manage their own and it’s a great way to get to the owner.
- Have positive attitude, Attitude is everything. Preparation is key for success.
- Create merchandising plans by looking at existing uses in the centers at what other uses would have synergy – then take those categories and make a target list.
- Take advantage of Power Sales University which the company invested over.
