Water / Wastewater Engineer - Industrial
Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses to industrial water / wastewater systems in a semi-conductor manufacturing environment. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices. Some assignments involve CAE (computer aided engineering) / CAD (computer aided design) applications.
Specific Responsibilities
Engineering support and oversight of design, construction, and commissioning of Wastewater systems including :
- Review of Design drawings and specifications for completeness and accuracy
- Review of equipment configuration and distribution routing of systems in NavisWorks 3D model relative to functionality, egress, ease of maintenance requirements, constructability, alignment with P&ID's, etc.
- Validation of engineering calculations
- Review and approval of equipment and component submittals in coordination with O&M staff
- Review and validation of construction RFI responses
- Review and approval of shop drawings and construction models
- May act in an advisory capacity to senior management personnel on process engineering related matters.
- Field engineering QA during construction
- Commissioning support
- Entry of system information into a capacity planning software
