MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for various industries.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Dallas, Texas. The Operations Manager is responsible for a department of around 20 people and for oversight of both Supply Chain and Production. We are seeking a candidate who has the drive and ability to analyze and continuously improve organizational processes, and work towards higher levels of quality, productivity, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Management
- Ensure adequate resource availability to meet the monthly production schedule.
- Support internal production meetings and monthly reporting requirements.
- Maintain 5S program and ISO9001:2015 certification.
- Foster continuous improvement initiatives in quality control, production, and efficiency.
Supply Chain Management
- Oversee purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ensure just-in-time inventory to meet production demands.
- Strengthen vendor relationships and negotiate better pricing and payment terms.
- Identify long-term purchasing needs and cost-saving opportunities.
- Optimize logistics operations to ensure value for money.
Leadership & Team Development
- Train, mentor, and guide employees through hands-on leadership.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and foster a collaborative culture.
- Promote a company culture of ambition, determination, and high morale.
Strategic & Financial Oversight
- Work with the General Manager to develop annual business plans.
- Set short- and long-term operational goals for the team.
- Manage operational expense budgets and assets.
- Liaise with MineARC's head office in Australia to align strategies.
Safety & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety guidelines in all aspects of the business.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other relevant standards.
- Manage facility maintenance, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field)
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing business
- 5 years of management experience with teams of 10 employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Typing speed >40 WPM
- Strong strategic business planning and execution skills
- Hands-on leadership approach with strong delegation skills
- Exceptional communication (verbal & written)
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills to positively influence outcomes
- Visionary mindset with a can-do attitude
