Job Overview
We are seeking a licensed Nail Technician to join our friendly salon at Nova Nail Bar, which is located inside of the jewelry store, Mineral and Matter in downtown SLC. We have 3 positions open. Hours can be flexible with your schedule, though to start, we require every other weekend (most of the clients we can't fit in currently are looking for weekend nail artists.) Evening availability is a plus as well. Two positions are for part time and one is for full time. We are mainly hiring for pedicures, which will be dry pedi and express services (no frills, just a good summertime pedi.) One position is for manicures which are nail art focused at our salon, though we can do single color or simple art if that is where you are at in your career. If you are interested in both mani and pedi, that can be arranged as well.
Responsibilities
- Perform manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements with precision and care.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to continuously improve service quality.
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Skills
- Proficient in nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, and nail art.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
