About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team! This position plays a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing (DON) and ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and a positive work environment for nursing staff. Schedule: The ADON will work two 12-hour floor shifts and 16 hours of administrative office work.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Assist in overseeing daily nursing operations to ensure quality care and compliance with policies.
✅ Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to nursing staff.
✅ Support infection control programs, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory compliance efforts.
✅ Collaborate with the Director of Nursing on staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and policy development.
✅ Ensure effective communication between nursing staff, providers, patients, and families.
✅ Assist in handling patient care concerns and implementing improvements.
Qualifications:
✔ Active RN license in Montana
✔ 3 years experience working in a CAH, skilled, and/or non-swing skilled swing bed and/or non-skilled swing bed unit ✔ ACLS/PALS/TNCC
✔ Leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
✔ Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, infection control, and quality improvement
✔ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
✔ Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
✔ Ability to adapt, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
✔ Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
