Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests, providing recommendations and taking drink orders in a friendly manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash registers accurately, processing payments and managing tabs for customers.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Skills
- Experience in casino environments is preferred, but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Knowledge of Health Code practices to ensure the well-being of guests.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Previous experience operating point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- A genuine desire to help others, creating memorable experiences for every guest.
